I know for a fact the code is changed every month to keep people off the tie in. You have to ask the Elders for the code each month if you want to listen in. We had on brother who took a job in the evening so he could support his family. The Elders refused to give him the pin number. The reason was that he wasn't trusting in Jehovah. -

WOW...90% of my post got cut out!
Anyways....long story short...I took my sister on a picnic this past Sunday and she wanted to hear the meeting. So she asked me for the pin # for the caller hookup. I told her I didn't know it even though I did. So she called her Service Overseer for the # but he wouldn't give it to her because she wasn't sick but and I quote "goofing off and not at Jehovah's table."
My sister was furious and hung up immediately and said "What an ass!" Yep....I think I need to plan another brunch/picnic on a Sunday.
Has anyone else heard of this 'new policy" to control who uses the telephone tie in?

We actually had an elderly pioneer say that she loves this new light. She said she never understood all this, and I quote her, "type/anti-type BS!" And then went on to say she used to tell bible students who asked her what does this mean to just come to the Hall and it will be answered. The whole place chuckled for a good minute. Yep, a long time servant of Jah admitted it was BS right in the middle of the meeting. -

by RoyalFlushPhil instephen lett about 33 minutes in to may's "liar liar" episode of the monthly worship broadcast said "jehovah's witnesses have the most multilingual speakers of any organization in the world!".
the catholic church has the most people i thought, do you think he's telling the truth and where is he getting these facts?
i finally broke down and decided to watch this in order to work on my reverse witnessing skills, lots of ammunition for anyone needing fuel to extinguish their dirty flames of lies!.

The most in the world? Hmmm, I don't know. I do know that there has been, as of late, a big push to learn a second language to preach to immigrants in the USA. I know of at least 6 special language groups in my area. I would say that 80% of the young ones in my congregation attend these. To me, it seems to be more of a social occasion for them. I tested some of them awhile back by introducing myself to some of them in Russian, and to my surprise they didn't understand me. This was after they were in the class for going on a year.
